Vacation - Day 2

Day 2 of our vacation was very laid back. My sister and I looked online to find a local park that we could take the girls to for some playtime, and we found a great one with huge covers over each of the playground structures. The only problem was that it BLAZING HOT and we were all sweating like pigs. The girls didn't seem to mind, though, and really enjoyed playing on the playground. Here are some pictures...

Natalie did the slide over and over again. The problem was that the website we found said there was a splash pad where kids could play in the water, but once we got there, we discovered it was closed. The swimsuit under the dress made it a little difficult to get down the slides!

Ella and Aunt Beth playing on the big girl swings. Aunt Beth tried to teach Ella how to pump her legs to get her swing to go higher, but she didn't quite get it. We don't have many swings around our house, so we just need a little more practice!

Aunt Beth told her to lean back and put her legs out, and she took her quite literally!

Even Natalie wanted to get in on the swinging action, but she wasn't thrilled. She was much happier if she was sitting in Mommy's lap on the swing. Sweet girl!
