What a Fun Week!

This week has been so much fun! My sweet Natalie has started to sit up, supported by her hands on the ground in front of her, and is so proud of herself for seeing the world from a different perspective. She just giggles when she realizes that she is doing something new and exciting, and Mommy is just beaming with pride!

When I went into Natalie's room this morning, this was the sight that greeted me. She's absolutely enamored with her toes, and the fact that she can't get to them with her sleepers on doesn't seem to stop her at all!

Tonight was the first time that we fed Natalie rice cereal (her first taste of solid food). As you can see from the photo above, she wasn't really sure about the whole food thing.
Once she got a taste of it, she promptly grabbed the spoon from Mommy and decided that she was done. She did take a few more sips, but really was underwhelmed at the whole solid food thing. My prediction: She'll be eating us out of house and home very soon!

Miss Ella has had lots of fun this week as well, capped off today by her adventurous dinner! We had baked spaghetti and salad for dinner, and Ella was given a portion of each, as is our practice at home. For the first time, she actually chose the lettuce in the salad over the spaghetti! Not just that, but she asked for more! Wonders never cease...
