So Sweet!

It's almost 9pm on Thursday night. Natalie has pneumonia, but only 1 day into taking her antibiotics, is doing much better. She missed Ella so much today, that when we put them to bed, they are really having a hard time settling down. For those of you who don't already know, the girls slept in the same room while we were traveling over Christmas, and when we returned home, they both insisted that they wanted to keep sleeping in the same room. It's been incredibly sweet, but it does take them some time to calm down and go to sleep since they are too busy playing! ;)

Tonight, as they start to settle down, Ella is singing "Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar" softly. Every time she finishes the chorus, Natalie pipes up with "Nannee???" to ask Ella to please put her name in the song the next time. It makes me smile every time I hear it, despite the fact that they both desperately need the sleep, since I know it means they are enjoying each other's company. Nothing could be more precious to a mommy than to know her girls love each other!
